16% of kids die within 5 years of being diagnosed with cancer. This is why raising awareness and fundraisers are so incredibly important. Here are a few ways you can get involved and show your support with Syndi Smiles!
Sept 2nd
We will be at the Seneca vs Springfield Catholic Gold Out football game. There will be a 2,525 balloon release to represent the 16% of children that will not win their cancer battle in 5 years of being diagnosed. We will also have shirts, decals, and bracelets that we will be selling. Raising money in the stands along with other things to raise money and awareness. Sept 17th
We will be partnering with the Christian Heady Foundation for their “88 Strong Passing It On” event. We will also have shirts, decals, and bracelets that we will be selling. We have a face painter coming, someone doing colorful hair extensions. We have a Gluten Free Food (Gluten Free Kicks) vendor coming to add to the vendors the Heady’s already have. Sept 24th
We recognize September 22nd as Smile Day as this is the day Sydni passed away. We wish to honor and remember her positivity and happy, smiley personality. So we decided to host an event to celebrate Sydni’s life and memory on the first Saturday after Sept. 22nd every year. This special day will be our “Smile Day Celebration” event in honor of Sydni.
We will also have shirts, decals, and bracelets that we will be selling. We will have face painting, someone doing colorful hair extensions, bounce houses, Gaga Ball, and more for entertainment. We are working on having live entertainment (bands or solo singers). We will have walking tacos and frito pies plus a large variety of frozen treats including snow cones.
